GETTING STARTED

​​Step 1: Complete the Interest Form

If you haven't already, begin by completing our Interest Form. This gives us a chance to learn a little about your student before we connect and helps us prepare for a meaningful conversation.

Step 2: Conversation

Every student's journey begins with a conversation. We'll take time to get to know your student, discuss their educational experiences, goals, interests, and answer any questions your family has about Exceptional Village Academy.

Step 3: Learning Snapshot & Transcript Review

Students complete a brief Learning Snapshot so we can better understand their current academic skills. If they have previously earned high school credit, we'll also review their transcript to verify completed coursework and determine how those credits fit into their graduation plan.

The Learning Snapshot is not a pass-or-fail test. It simply helps us identify the most appropriate placement and the support each student may need to be successful.

Step 4: Personalized Enrollment Review

We combine what we learn from our conversation, the Learning Snapshot, and any previous high school transcripts to create a clear picture of your student's educational pathway. We'll discuss our recommendations, answer your questions, and determine whether EVA is the right fit.

Step 5: Enrollment

Complete the enrollment forms, submit the registration fee, and we'll finalize your student's enrollment, personalized schedule, and graduation plan.

Step 6: Welcome to EVA

Meet your teachers, become familiar with the online learning environment, and begin your journey at Exceptional Village Academy.
