Over the past six years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside students through some of the most important years of their lives. I’ve watched quiet students find their voice, discouraged students rediscover their confidence, and learners who once doubted themselves accomplish things they never believed were possible. Those moments have reminded me again and again that growth happens when students are challenged, encouraged, and supported by someone who believes in them before they believe in themselves. Every student who joins EVA becomes part of that journey, and it continues to be one of the greatest privileges of my life.

When I look back over more than thirty years in education, it isn't the lesson plans or the curriculum I remember most. It's the students. I remember the conversations, the breakthroughs, the tears, the laughter, and the moments when a student realized they could do something they once believed was impossible. Those moments are why I continue this work. They remind me that education is about so much more than academics. It's about helping young people discover who they are, believe in what they're capable of, and leave with the confidence to build a life they love. I feel incredibly grateful that EVA has allowed me to be part of so many of those stories, and I look forward to being part of many more.
