Now Accepting Applications for Fall 2026 -2027!
SHARING DAY AT EVA
Where creativity, connection, and community come together.
At the start of each quarter, students choose one elective to focus on for 10 weeks. Options include visual arts, theatre, photography, culinary arts, music, building and design, and entrepreneurship. Each elective provides one independent, project-based assignment per week that students complete at their own pace.
Then, every Thursday at 1 PM EST, students come together on Zoom for Sharing Day—a live, encouraging space where they present what they created and receive meaningful, rubric-based feedback and positive comments from their peers.
Projects are evaluated on effort, creativity, completion, and communication. Students are invited—but never required—to offer feedback to others in the group.
Sharing Day is a core part of every EVA elective—and now, homeschoolers can enroll in electives and participate fully in this weekly experience.

WHAT HAPPENS ON SHARING DAY
Each Thursday at 1 PM EST, students join Zoom to present the project they’ve worked on that week. Some perform live. Others screen-share photos, slideshows, or video recordings.
Each presentation is evaluated using a clear rubric that focuses on:
• Effort
• Creativity
• Completion
• Communication
After each presentation, students receive personalized feedback and a rubric-based grade. They are also encouraged—but never required—to offer kind, thoughtful comments to their peers.
Sharing Day helps students practice speaking about their work, thinking critically about their process, reflecting on their growth, and feeling proud of what they’ve created.
